We’re aware that Minecraft 1.21.5 has been released, and some players may be expecting an update. At this time, we will not be updating the server to 1.21.5 until Paper releases stable builds for it.

Currently, Paper has only released experimental builds for 1.21.5, which we do not consider production-ready. To ensure server stability and plugin compatibility, we’re holding off on updating until stable builds are available.

In the meantime, 1.21.5 clients are still supported thanks to ViaVersion, so you're free to connect using the latest version.
